Healing with Homeopathy for Kids

Our five year old son woke up with his eye half closed, as I looked closer I could see the head of a stye forming. Under his eye was so swollen with fluid it hurt to look at. He was so upset! So I ran to our nearest Whole Food’s for the best match for his symptoms. I used Ferrum Phos and Euphrasia. Every couple of hours we gave him three 30c sugar pellets to relieve the discomfort and reduce the swelling.                     We used Ferrum Phosphoricum which in essence is iron and phosphorus used for anxiety and to strengthen blood cells for the first stage of the stye. It helps treat redness, pain, tenderness, and the swelling and also stops it from getting worse by preventing any pus from forming.

The second one we bought was Euphrasia; which comes from a wild plant native to Europe with anti-inflammatory properties. One of the many things I love about homeopathy is its not one shoe fits all. It doesn’t suppress it gets to the root of the physical and emotional issues based on the functionality of the element. Euphrasia is normally used for a watery eye that feels like its itchy, aggravated, and burning sensation along with the stye. Which Bry was complaining of all of it.

Why do I love sharing my remedies? It’s inexpensive, has no side effects and the kids don’t fight me every time I need to treat something. I actually have to hide my homeopathy remedies from them!

(Disclaimer: I am not a doctor or a health practitioner. Just sharing what has worked for my family)
